Possessive Pronouns

POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS:

Los pronombres posesivos en inglés son: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, yours, theirs. Indican posesión y son invariables. Nunca van precedidos de un artículo.

mine   - (el/la/lo/los/las) mío/a míos/as
yours  - (el/la/lo/los/las) tuyo/a tuyos/as
his    - (el/la/lo/los/las) suyo/a suyos/as
hers   - (el/la/lo/los/las) suyo/a suyos/as
ours   - (el/la/lo/los/las) nuestro/a, nuestros/as
yours  - (el/la/lo/los/las) de ustedes
theirs - (el/la/lo/los/las) suyo/a suyos/as

yours (iórs) - (el/la/lo/los/las) tuyo/a tuyos/as

ours (áurs) - (el/la/lo/los/las) nuestro/a, nuestros/as

• It's their problem, not ours.
  Es su problema, no el nuestro.
• Sally and I had a big party with some friends of ours.

theirs (dérs) - (el/la/lo/los/las) suyo/a suyos/as

• My appartment is here. Theirs is there.
